not to nitpick but the article does not assert that she was drunk. the call came in as a "suspected drunk driver". she was certainly attempting to evade the police but according to the article, "The Milton Police Department is investigating the incident, and Grimditch has not been charged."

she certainly will be.

 

It says suspected but she probably was. Either that or DUI of something.

 

i have no doubt either, or why would she have tried to evade. you can bet they took a blood sample at the hospital to test. my guess is the article was written before the milton pd had either gotten the results or made them public. even if she was sober, killing someone while trying to evade the police is a felony. she's going away for a while regardless of her sobriety.

 

i hope she gets charged.

just a few weeks ago a older mexican guy pulled up to our quick lube shop, drunk off his ___. some jose cuervo fell out of his truck. i made my anon call and it felt good to take a guy with 15DWI's off the street.

hope she gets the maximun penalty, drunk or sober

Hammurabi would have fun with this one. She deserves to be put away for a long, long, long time. I'm thinking something like the 60-70 years that the kid she killed still had left to go in his life.

 

Drunk or not, she must've been going pretty fast to be able to flip her car after hitting a curb to land on a roof. O man, Best wishes to that family.
