My friend is considering these schools up here in the bay area... Well, Wyotech is in fremont and the UTI is in Sacramento as far as I know.

Some people have only seen it and been there, some people have only heard about it, and some people have graduated from these schools...

Does anyone have some personal stories to share that maybe I can pass on to my friend? Positive or negative?

I've heard about these schools just sucking up your money and they have not so good job placement programs and seem to care less if you get a job or not. I heard alot of it is based on where you are at and when you plan to get a job. Some people say you learn a lot, some people say you're better off going to a college and taking auto courses.

Any info is appreciated. Again this isn't for me, it's for a friend who is interested in a career in the automotive industry and these were some options he was considering. I'd like to here some facts and personal stories other than "I heard that school is crap" cause that doesn't help much. Thanks =)
