Default yaris, tc, xb cant decide

ive been rattling my brain for a while now whether to get the new yaris soon to comeout the xB or the tC, i like the power and the moonroof on the tc and the reclining rear seats, the sb i like for the room inside and the ease of getting in/out, i like the thought of being able to go out and fit a bunch of stuff inside the thing, and then the yaris is going to kickass in looks and gas... ive decided tho i like manual im goin for auto thats a given cuz the trafic in cali really burns clutches out fast! any bodies opinion biased or not would be appreciated.

IMO a 2-door Yaris with aftermarket 15s, lowering springs, CAI & exhaust would be a nice little ride at a reasonable price.

there seems to be a more responsive feel to the yaris rather than the xb or tc, next thing im wondering is whether to get the hatchback or the sedan?

true, i think that the yaris is goin to have an engine start button like on the prius thats cool i just dont like the senter guages... the only one i can stand is the xb's cluster speedometer, plus i have been told by those toyota websources that the liftback will not have a tach but will have reclining seats and the sedan with be the opposite

I think you are on the right track. Wait until the Yaris hits the lot and then go test drive all 3 of them(xB, tC and Yaris). And, then compare the three. You can't go wrong with any of these choices. I voted for the tC because it is a sweet car(i own one). Its fun to drive and I get numerous compliments.

But definitely, like I said, you're on the right track so stay on it.

Go in now and establish a salesman you trust. Tell him you want to test drive the Yaris as soon as possible. He should be able to help you out with that. He might pressure you a little more though, so let him know you have the three choices to maybe lessen the pressure.

yeah i too saw and sat in both i now wish i had spent a little more time there. hahaha oh well its true both very comfy i like both sedan and liftback both very nice. im leaning toward the the yaris as of now. the only thing that is still deterrng me is the instrument panel being in the middle of the dash, i understand that toyota is just trying something new as always, but i for one dont like it i guess once i see it again ill be more sure.. the push start button is still a sweet idea, like on the prius, like i said toyota is always trying sumthing new

The one thing that the tC and xB probably have over the yaris is a rear sway bar. The IMPORTANT one on a FWD car. Now, I haven't read the specs (or even know if they are out) for the US yaris, but the echo never had a rear sway, and I think that is pretty important. xB gets my vote I guess.

Its all about what your needs are

fold down seats is an option in the yaris HB they come standard for scions and I think the yaris sedan

the xB has lots of room and is less common then the tC

yaris has better mpg then the xB and the tC

oh and there are some features that come standard in a scion but is optional on a yaris

im actually not sure if it does have a rear sway bar but im not sure it is actaually necesarry it soes have acoupke other useful things like electric steering which gets rid of many steering comp. so parking is easier and freeway driving is better!

Out of those 3 choices, I'd say Yaris sedan because I think the 2 door hatch looks like a crappy old civic si. tC is more expensive then all your other choices so it's not really comparable. I'd say a better comparison in terms of price and options would be Yaris vs xA. Are you looking at the Yaris S or just the normal Yaris?
