iPod all the way.
-I have no problem downloading music from anywhere else and uploading it to my ipod

-ipod is a great brand and there are apple stores everywhere if u need to go get a new battery installed or something

-constant updates and great deals

-looks cool

-from my experience with them over the past several years, they can take heat over 130 degrees F and cold -5 degrees F (experience from being in my car)

-Every generation gets better.

~~~now, the zune has all that great stuff the ipod has , but for the same price. Would you buy all your clothes at Walmart if you could get the same stuff at the same price from Armani?...i think not.
Oh, and microsoft is actually selling its zune product, since im sure no one is buying them
the zune dosent sound as nice as the ipod, my mom has one and hers didnt handle my drum and bass music all that well, even with my DJ headphones the zune still managed to distort the lows alot. my ipod has no problems handling any of my crazy music selection. i have to get my ipod replaced however because when turned off and put in hold mode it resets itself and the battery dies when its left off for more than 12 hours
Let me explain from a salespersons perspective.
Trying to compete with Mac's media is like ____ing into an ocean of ____.
Ipod is always the way to go... The Zune is big, crappy, microsoft, and not cracked to what it was supposed to be.
The Zune was apparently supposed to be able to wirelessly share music... Yeah you can share music... FOR AN HOUR! After you give soemone a song with your Zune VIA Wireless... It's gone in an hour. Also, you can't use the zune as an external hard drive. Sure it has a bigger screen but come on... It's not a mac.
where did you get the BS info that the shared songs are gone in an hour?? You get them for 3 days and you can play them 3 times...sux? of course it does but they are ways around it. I own both an iPod and Zune and love them both, but I use my Zune more. I like the Zune because the screen is bigger and you can actually see the album art on the screen fullsize rather than a 1/4 inch in size on the iPods screen. They each have their pros and cons but I'm sticking with my Zune. oh, and BTW you can use it as an external hard drive. you have to edit the registry, but it can be done. someone needs some info before they make judgement
