D7000
Adorama (my favorite) and B&H both have where you can "order" them but they don't actually have any yet from the manufacturer.
This thread is devoted to when the first person finds a place that has D7000's in stock and can ship as soon as you purchase.
i would be very obliged

ok, im done. gonna just order from best buy and be done with it. they say they'll have it in store in 3-5 days. All of the online retailers are saying it will be 2-3 months before they can get you one after you order.
I've learned that quantity of glass is a lot less important than quality. Get what you need for the types of things you shoot. I've seen people with ultimate baller setups but yet produce snapshot-esque photos. And on the other hand I've seen people with a around 3 pieces of glass that take phenomenal photos.
Here's a chart of zoom lens ranges that my buddy showed me that I've been looking at: http://www.bythom.com/nikonlens.htm

I don't shoot from far enough distance to need anything telephoto, so the 200mm will really be great for me as the high end of my range, so that's really what I meant.
Thanks for the link, helps put the purchases in perspective a bit more.
Poor choice of words on my part saying 'more' what I meant is 'different', I've got the 18-105 VR kit lens from my D90 but want the 18-200 VR for a little bit larger range for my all-arounder, and the 35mm f/1.8 which is incredible for the price you pay; I'm interested in something much wider though, like the Nikon 10-24 or the Tokina 11-16; and something much more macro, like the Sigma 105 or even the Nikon one (rated a bit lower).

Since you already have the 18-105, I'd look at a 80-200 f/2.8 as a telephoto option. You can get them used for only about $100 more than what a new 18-200 will cost and it's FX. Not to mention the 16mp of the D7000 can't out-resolve it. It's not a walkaround lens, however, because of it's size, but the weight isn't bad from what I've read.
I've heard good things about the Sigma 105mm. My buddy has one and he seems to like it. And you're right about the 35mm. I have one and I'll never sell it.
