the 50 f/1.8 isnt that bad its like $100 prolly 80ish used.
and if you're willing too, the opteka battery grip with 2batteries runs about 100 as well. i have it and it hasnt failed me yet

Yeah, I found the 50mm f/1.8 for $85 new. Thanks for telling me about the Opteka grip though! I'll probably get that!

The ULTIMATE upgrade for me is the 5D Mark II.

 

oh man i want the mark2 so bad. I just bought my 5d not too long ago and i didn't know they were coming out with the mark 2 or i would've just waited.

 

21MP seems a bit over the top unless your printing billboards? Damn nice SLR though!

Im eyeing the new Nikon D90 right now. Hopefully if i land this new job that pays about 40% more of what im getting now. ill get it. Kinda hard finding spending money when saving for a house.

Anything free out there? I'm thinking of getting Flickr Pro.. But if there's something free with more space than a regular Flickr account, then that would be awesome! I've already almost maxed out my monthly upload bandwidth..And I didn't know that if you delete pics you won't gain any back. =[

Edwin, do you really only shoot in P-Mode? Just curious..Your pics are always great. It's hard to believe. Lol.

 

I have that lens for my D40, and I freakin love it! Gives a lot of background blur and really picks up a lot of color.

Edwin, mine are better because I shoot in manual. hehehe But yeah, I'll admit I'm lacking in the T&A shots. But that's only because I have some dignity and respect for the subject. Even if it is just inanimate statues....

 

I can't for the life of me figure out settings for a good night shot. I went to the circus AND a concert this weekend & all my shots came out like crap.
