^Out of what he listed I'd have to agree. Now if he said D80/90, then Nikon ftw.

Just shot these a couple hours ago. I'm on vacation in Cape Cod. Had no time to edit. Straight from the D90 in RAW NEF with just some minor tweaks to the camera. Not sure which one I like better if any. I left my freakin Tripod at the house too so I had to hold the camera mad steady with the slow shutter speed at night. what a pain in the a..

when you don't have a tripod you need to just get creative... i see a bunch of wood posts that would have worked great as a natural tripod. just go to 2 second timer in your self timer mode on the D90 or if you have a remote i would just use that instead on your "bulb" shutter mode in manual so you can just control the opening and closing of the shutter to soak up as much light as possible.

also, what did you do editing wise in the camera for these pics? i never even mess with the in camera editing because i'd rather just use photoshop and lightroom on my computer. your sky looks way too blue.

Honestly the sky was pretty dang blue at sunset. What you see is basically what I saw in person. I do most of my editing in Lighthouse 2 and CS3. I would have edited but forgot my laptop at our friends beach home.
I tried using the roof of my tC on a few shots which seemed to work pretty good and also my girlfriends shoulder, lulz.
I'll be doing more shooting today. I have some other photos I'll post, i just need to upload them.
