^ are those red velvet cupcakes? i am extremely jealous! i cannot bake red velvet cake if my life depended on it. they always come out dense and taste like flour. rawr! the weird thing is i can bake chocolate cakes and such just fine.

yea their red velvets. maybe you need to use more butter milk and baking soda?

 

yeah buttermilk would help a lot. People would be surprised at the power of buttermilk and the neat things it can do for a lot of foods. Especially tough meats. Nice shot of the cupcakes.

 

here is dumb question, but should i take apart the camera and give it a good cleaning. I mean like unscrew and dust? dont flame me, just never taken it apart, wondering if it is a good idea.

 

I wouldn't. Just take it to a camera repair shop. The ones around here usually charge about $60 for a cleaning.

 

NO. there are way too many chances of u frying the boards or anything else. U don't need to do any more than blowing off the sensor with a dust bulb that are made for it. U can dust the sensor if ur brave enough but i'd research it first.

 

By opening it up, you'll just let even more dust in. Take it somewhere and pay to have it professionally cleaned.

 

I wanna see a shot that makes u just wanna clean it. Cause from the shots I've seen of ur's it doesn't seem to be dirty.

Heck I have a 5d which is notorious for getting dust on the sensor and my dust bulb usually gets it all off. Lot of the time the dust is on the viewfinder or the mirrors on the inside.

Best way to clean ur camera is to TURN IT OFF, put it on a tripod, point it more downwards so that dust has less chance of going into it and then blow the heck outta it with the dust bulb.

 

 

already want it. ha ha. It's actually gonna be relatively cheap.

If it is full frame and shooting at 5fps then i may have to sell my 5d body and save up for the 7d. Not too crazy bout the fact it has a built in flash. I like my 5d not havin the built in flash.

Oh it isnt dirty, I just wanted to know about routine cleaning. when you say blow the heck outta it with the dust bulb, what is the dust bulb?

they do pretty good but u will still need to clean ur sensor every once in a while with a cleaning kit.

Just think bout having a sensor twice the size of ur's.
