Alas, LOVE the lens. The saturation, contrast, and sharpness compete with prime lenses. To me it is a lens that EVERY Canon user should have in his/her bag. I am even happy with it just being the f4 and not the 2.8. When using a lens at this focal length it's usually not in low light or inside shoots anyways. When I'm needing to shoot low light I always go for my 50 1.8 or the 15mm 2.8 primes.
Snow, yeah I think what Zach said was pretty much dead on. Memphis is lacking in any kind of culture period. Not many people out doing much either. Even Beale street stays pretty empty unless there is a big event or something. I mean literally you might catch 20 people on the whole street if that during the day or weekdays.
I would LOVE to do some street photography in places like NYC or something where there is ALWAYS something going on and the streets are ALWAYS full. I think for where we live we do pretty good. ha ha

waaaahh... i dropped my d90 tonight... it looks bad! i had it on a tripod and for some reason my little brother decided to take out he screw that lets you turn the camera for landscape/portrait modes. it worked fine for a while and when i moved the tripod one of the times it just fell... and i couldnt catch it.
long story short the lens separated from camera and this part broke:

also the actual housing of the camera is cracked by the flash/bracket button and also the flip up flash is cracked... camera works fine its just got the cracked pieces...
besides nikon direct does anyone know where i can get replacement parts for the d90?
