i got one. i used it once! and then got me an SB-600. hahaha. the SB-600 is a must if you like to use flash! and it is soo worth the money. and yes, what everyone is saying about not worrying about the body, i totally agree. i use a Nikon D40, and i can get some awesome pictures out of it! in the future i do want to upgrade, but for now it'll do. lol.

Here's some pictures I took today of a friend for a photo project.
The idea was "loneliness". It has to be a series-ish so I kept with the same editing style throughout all the pictures.

Just picked up the SB-600, with 2 sets of rechargeable batteries and extended warranty.

more lomo??? I was up late last night reading about lomo. Eli question in a black in white how do you add color to certain objects?? what is that technique called??

 

use “Magnetic Lasso Tool” lasso to select object then got to adjustments bar then select replace color.

 

Took my pup out for a potty break & I didn't even know we had these flowers in our front yard. So, I decided to take the 20D out with the trusty nifty fifty that Robert re-gifted back to yours truly. Thanks again, RobbyJ!

 

I just realized all my shots looked better on the cam lcd than they do on my comp, :facepalm:

 

That's usually the case. Brighter, sharper, more vibrant. It's a trait of the LCD.

 

my attempt at lomo opinions pls!!

 

I can't really detect any lomo-ness besides the vignette and contrast. Although the original lomo look was from the type of camera and the way the film was processed, in today's photography it seems that it's used to convey a nostalgic mood. Your subject plays a big part in that.
