had a lot of fun until my battery died and missed some cool cargos taking off. but for my first attempt at planes it was a blast. on to the Zoo tomorrow

 

im still debating how to edit number 2. I tried messing with shadows and highlighting and i did a little more tinkering and came up with this

 

Truth be told, I don't like #2 at all. Too many subjects.

 

yea it was a weird spot that i was shooting from (on a hill) and i just saw those 2 holding hands. i think if there would have been less machinery and cars in the background it would have worked. Oh well i tried

1st time using it, truly using it, not just point and shoot. i still have no idea what i'm doing but i bought a guide book today so we'll see what happens later on.

i have one more of the dog i really like but it's not really artsy.

equipment used was a d40 body and an 18-55 lens that came with the camera

 

you're off to a good start. just make sure you actually READ THE MANUAL. There's a seriously a lot of info in there.
