DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
soooooo i decided to invest in some more glass but cant decide what i want more.
17-55mm f2.8 dx
or a 24-70mm f2.8 fx
i know the 24-70 is a funky range in the cropped sensor on my d90 but then again using a full frame lens on a dx camera uses the sweet spot of the lens for superb images.
on the other hand the 17-55mm seems like the best range ever.
opinions please

i havnt got a difuser my self but id recommend a soft box they make small ones. just stay away from those crappy plastic covers that they show all over ebay those dont do squat! soft box seems the way to go.
yea no worries were here to learn from each other. my friend got a pack of the plastic thigns on ebay and he gave me one it was complete trash. he then bought a soft box which i have borrowed and its way better. pretty cheap to ~15-20$
I'm trying to learn to create my own actions. I want to create a warming/medium contrast action that I can apply to everything, but the one I used on this doesn't work so well on outdoor shots.
court house :D

So... this is my new flash setup:
SB-600 using with IR commander mode with a diffuser dome & , Nikon R1, and there's is scotch tape over the SB-R200s to diffuse the light a bit.
So the SB-600 has this:
SOFT FLASH DIFFUSER DOME FOR NIKON SB-50DX SB-28DX
Which goes over this:
Harbor Digital Design DD-A18 Bounce Diffuser
