DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
Yeah originally I paid $1300 back in 2009. I'll probably never buy a body new again.
Which is about the minimum focus distance, I believe.
It'll be a loooong time before I buy another camera body. Unless for some reason my d700 gets ruined. But when I do, it'll definitely be used.
I've been thinking about trying to create some sort of low light high resolution camera system for my engineering senior design project. Going to start some research soon.

You could design what Nikon should have made, a D700xs. Same sensor but increased to 18-21mp and 1080p video.
Lol she won't be as popular as the grumpy cat, but as long as she cooperates I'll keep shooting.
I'd be down to enhance the sensor and whatnot, but I'll have to design something specifically applicable to the biomedical field. If I could do a condensed hi-res, low-noise sensor that could fit on an endoscope, I'd be pretty psyched. I'll just have to research what hasn't been done yet and try to do it.
Just as Jon is going to post a lot of photos of his cat, I'm going to keep the Guy Fawkes thing going. I'm having an easier time shooting in dim light with the full frame fantasticness, making it easier to shoot around the house. In addition to this benefit, I finally bought AAA batteries so I can use my trigger. Yeah, that's how lazy I am..
And hungry. Nothing to eat.

I guess you are right, that cat likes to pose!
Nice pics Stenger! I assume the Ducati is yours? Sometimes I wish I would of spent the extra for a 748 instead of the GSXR750 I have, even though I have more bang, a Ducati has so much character and appeal.

Also, I see your lightning and raise you mine:

Spent the morning visiting with my parents, who live outside of town in a rural area. Ended up spending a good amount of time walking around the woods with my camera, playing with the 24mm.

Al's ____ is really dope. Something you guy's gotta browse.

Just kidding, those are awesome!
