Lol not. Most of my favorite photos were accidents at the time they were taken. Only when I got home did I realize how much I liked them for whatever reason.

 

Post processing FTW! Makes it easier to turn accidents and crap into awesome pieces of art! Ha ha

Now if we could only do it to people in real life. Ha ha

 

 

I did some HDR's but on photoshop in using the file>automate>merge to HDR, I have my 3 pics, -2 0 +2 and I am getting results nowhere near you guys. am I doing something wrong?

 

Photoshop's process for HDR is different than Photomatix which is what I'm assuming most people use.

It's probably because I am a noob at both DSLR and editing.

 

After it generates it you have to adjust the tone mapping. That's why it looks like that.

 

I adjusted the tone settings, should I just leave them default or you guys messing with them. thanks for the help btw, im trying to grasp this lol.

Remember, HDR isn't just bout the editing. The subject itself has to have all the dynamic range of colors and contrast.

 

I'm thinking the location I used wasn't good for HDR, I think somewhere that has high lighting maybe when its darker would be better. I got to practice though and read up, I just got my canon a couple hours ago. loving it so far.

yeah that's improvement..... I used this guide to do HDR in photoshop. I noticed this person took his shots @ -2 -.33 and 1.33
