October bump,

I like the shot, lighting, color.... not feeling the free weezy thing lol.

Care to share the lighting technique and settings?

 

Lol I bought it based on the sheer attention it gets. Whether he's in jail or not isn't relevant to my interests lol.

Set up is just 1 SB-600 camera right bounced off the ceiling at 1/16 power. Natural light through the window to my right. My wall is actually blue so it worked out well.

 

Very nice. I need a new flash, badly. The SB600 a solid purchase?

EDIT: Is that the one that can be used off the camera?

 

Technically any shoe-mount flash can be used off camera. But I think the 600, 700, 800, and 900 are the only ones that can be fired via Nikon CLS.

mirror shots aren't exactly self portraits. It's just a myspace profile photo snap shot. a self portrait would be shot just like any other portrait just ur not behind the camera.
