FT: Agency Midpipe for Stock Midpipe
I have an exhaust ticket and need a stock mid pipe I want to do a straight trade for a stock mid pipe that hasn't seen to many miles but as long as everything is still good with it then I don't mine trading.
I am located in Whittier CA and could do the swap at my house or could maybe get my friend to do at his house.
Midpipe is pretty good condition I think it has scratches on the bottom from some driveways that weren't to friendly.
Don't have pics because it is under the car.
PM or Comment on here if interested

Tell us more about the ticket. How did you let them give you one? Did they have a dB reading on it? Doubt it... They have no proof that it was "too loud" or "aftermarket". Elaborate on the situation please, especially since I have an Agency (Best tC exhaust around)

if you have to go to the state ref, then you will pass. i've went a while back when i had a megan midpipe on stock exhaust and passed easily, if you have to smog then just put the stock intake and exhaust back and you should be good to pass as well

Criminal: I got a state ref ticket so would have to go get it smogged I had an intake and exhaust. Intake is off but still have the mid pipe I am now running the mid pipe with a TRD exhaust. I was thinking since the mid don't have a CAT then I wouldn't pass if i took it like that.
Frankie: I would probably just need it until I get the ticket resolved lol let me know.
AcidDrop: How much is it to get it tested? Thats another thing don't want to go to state ref have to pay and not pass then pay again to pass thats my only issue. I got that "emissions" sticker put on the back of the ticket.
But yeah best exhaust I've had sounds and feels great I still have the axle back part and want to put it on but want to get this done first haha. I think it sounds better with my old megan mid pipe I had though. But yeah oh well.
PS. This is the first time I've had to do this so not sure how it all works and I've heard different stories so yeah. Was looking to buy a mid pipe but the ones I've seen they want $150+ so yeah.

mine has just been chillin in my garage if you need to borrow it. pm me if you need it.
from what i remember the fee to get it checked out at the state ref is pretty minimal, like $20 or so but the ticket is hefty. if i remember correctly it was like $400+ even after everything was corrected.

if you got pulled over for the exhaust then it's only a fix it ticket even if it says "non-correctable" if you have to go to the state ref then just make sure your stock intake and exhaust is on and they will ask you to rev it. they won't be able to tell if you have the stock or aftermarket midpipe, now as for smog, if you are suppose to go there. then you will need the stock midpipe because the 2nd cat has some numbers on it which the smog place will need to get down to make sure you are using the right catalyic convertor. trust me man i've been through all of that before and always passed and would pay only $25 for the tickets even if they said "non-correctable"
