SRI would mainly be for areas that rain a lot because if you go in a deep puddle with a CAI it can suck up water to your engine and you can hydrolock it. In california when it rained for a few days this mechanic told me to be careful because in the last few days he had to deal with two hydrolocked tc's with CAI's.
