I'm thinking about taking off my turbo and virginizing my tC. I've had the kit on for about 2 years now and have slightly outgrown the car. This was one of the first turbo kits to be installed by Sound Performance in Chicago. I've had zero issues with any components of the kit.

Did you get the ball bearing? What kind of fuel management do you have? Any pics of the kit? How much you looking to get?

 

The turbo on that kit looks like it sits pretty high. Ever have any problems with clearance using a stock hood?

 

It uses an Apexi SAFC, and has a fuel return system (modified stock fuel rail, 440cc injectors, and a pressure regulator). Non-ball baring turbo.

I would prefer to sell it all together, if I get nothing then I'll take offers piecing it out.

I don't have any recent pic's, but here it is when it was installed 2 years ago.

 

It doesn't sit any higher than the valve cover. I did have to put a piece of fire board on the hood liner because it started to warp. It's never given me any paint issues though.

 

Make me an offer...It's still on my car so it would at least need to be worth my time to take it off.

It was never really advertised out side of the scion forms. Sound Performance has built some kick a$$ Supra's and MR2's. They used to have videos of an 8 second Supra on their page. Not sure if it's still there or not.

 

What kind of numbers were you putting out?

 

Sound Performance always was my favorite kit, I hope it goes to a good home.
