Default F/S: PPG Chromax Windshield XB(1stGen)

This is truly a one of a kind product....this is one of 3 out there in the nation, for that matter the world for the xB.

About 2 years ago spent some time with PPG marketing directors, they told us about this new aftermarket glass thats been developed, called "Chromax". Chromax has a blue reflective outside however it is not a tint.
PPG was kind enough to lay a couple pieces of glass on a friend of mine(probably seen his xB on here -Peej aka Patrick) and me.
As PPG says, "It's sunglasses for your car!" They equate this glass to "blu blocker glasses"

The glass not only looks good but is very functional, blocks most of the glare, and heat from the vehicle. From the inside you dont really even know that it is any different!

Retail price for these I believe was near $500, asking $250

Here is PPG product literature:

They did actually make a few for the tC, the plan was to actually to do the windshield, and the entire glass roof for the tC but it never panned out.
