GREAT Headunit! I have the same one, Great price too I paid a bit more used from b52hDUNN - and my headunit is still firmware 2.3 and has not updates

ALSO For you lazy pepz out there buy the WRI-P Wireless remote interface and then buy the CD-R510 Pioneer remote! Sick set up and you can control all aspecs of the head unit with the remote.

no it will not work without the mic. you need the mic for bluetooth.but you can get it on ebay.
