Hey guys, I have a used OEM Alpine deck for sale. I purchased it on here a little over a year ago I believe, and installed it in my wife's tC. I purchased the aftermarket cable off ebay to allow connection of an iPod directly to the unit since her car did not have the provision for ipod direct, only aux in. Here's the thing, seeing as she never used the cd player, I never checked it out after I installed it, and a year later we discover that it doesn't work. I don't know if it was damaged during shipping or sometime after it was installed. Again, she never used it so it wasn't a big deal to us. I upgraded my stereo in my xb, and she got my IDA-X001, so now we are just wanting to get it out of the way. If you can fix it, great. If you need it for parts, fine with me. $50 obo for the Alpine. $50 obo for the cable (SC-12235 is the model number.) As always, buyer pays shipping, and I only take paypal.

 

ive never seen this one, what year was this one offered? and will it fit in an 05 tc?

 

I believe this was the one offered in the Envy Green RS 3.0 XB it is a dvd player as well for the seat monitors.

Parts of it may work, but I am thinking that because it came out in 06, you'll prolly have some problems. But hey, its cheep enough that if it don't work, then oh well.

 

yeah it originally comes in the RS3 xb. I had it in my 05 xb for a little while, then put it in her 06 tC for about a year. it is supposed to play cd/dvds and has the video outputs as well to run to rear seat monitors. But again tho, the cd/dvd player will not load a disc. Sounds like the drive motor tries to take the disc, but it won't suck it in.

To fit in a tc, i had to notch the inside of the radio door, and when it was closed it was still pretty tight fit, but it would open and close. If you buy this to put in a tc, le me know and I will send you the inside piece of the door from her car. (I had a spare that I cut to put in hers)
