daniel, sorry to see that you are getting rid of your tC. I hope ill still see ya around. yea modding takes a big chunk out of life. lol. ive stopped putting money into the tC as well. believe it or not but my lil bro will be driving in 8 months...so i will need to get a new car soon as well. good luck with everything.

 

So what are you going to get....I'm think a red genesis coupe with a K&N filter, Tint, coils and set of R5:F wheels on stock tires maybe a exhaust....This time I'm not touch the engine or the interior..

 

just a reminder no extra value is added to a modded tc look in to it before you trade with modds even s/c ..

 

Take off all mods you can get back to stock. All the dealer is gonna do is value your car as stock during the trade then jack up the price when they put it on the used lot. I wasn't gonna let them get my Agency Power exhaust and put it to stock. I was only gonna get 10K for my spec tC w/ 14,987 miles even with the AP exhaust on.

 

My is an RS2 and it supercharged is going get more for it than a normal tc...I sold cars and I'm salesman...I know my way around a deal. s/c dealer opition.besides I by the time I sell it all I will need is high 10's or mid 11K and its paid for...so I'm confident that I can get that...Besides dealers NEEDS to sell cars...no one buying..Actually the hyundai dealer still has there 1st genesis. But thanks for the advice..

lol coo, but that just means you know what im talking about when it comes down to a dealer trade in . no extra value or they will just spike up price for other things end result no extra value.. kelly blue book doesn't offer options for RS or modded TC's. i just spoke with a few guys who tried getting more for there modded tc and only one got offered just a hair more but parting out his tc with eom parts, wow his gains off the roof.. best bet private party or part out .. ether way good luck..

 

Well...I'm not like I want for 15K for my tc....paying it off enough... but I'm not going take 8K or 9K either...I thinking 12K is fair and if they need to sell a car...they are going to sell the car..

ive heared of Kettleman City CA and cattleman street ? thats a long drive..

 

it's almost the same distance for the two of you, excluding traffic and pending where in l.a. you stay. not all sellers are willing to make such a drive. it's a nice setup and eD is an awesome brand.
