I'm selling my Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6. Nikon mount. It's less than a year old and I've used it maybe five times. Comes with a 72mm UV filter.

It's a 58mm UV (not 72mm) The filter went on as soon as I took it out of the box so the glass is flawless, I also have the hood.

Does this work with the auto focus function? I have been looking for a new lens and have seen some that you have to use manual focus.

(Sorry if I sound dumb, I am a newb when it comes to SLR's)

 

Yup, it autofocuses, I had it on my D40. It also has a macro mode @ 200-300mm.

I'm having a hell of a time finding photos with this lens... I had a hard drive failure not too long ago and I think I lost a lot of em.

Here's one, but I had to pull it off FB, so the quality has been degraded. Gives you an idea of the reach on the lens though.
