Would the Blitz cover work with a K&N filter? Not sure how to go about getting a replacement filter.

I had trouble keeping the lid closed with TRD filter due the thickness of the rubber lip. Stock airfilter fit fine though and the lid closed with no problem. I ran the setup for about a year then switched to YDR.

Oh man.. I love the Perrin intake! Too bad I just bought the TRD one.. Bump for some hard to find shiz..

The TRD and the KN and the Blitz filters are exactly the same size with a rubber rim. If positioned correctly there should not be any problem at all. I ran a blitz with TRD for quite a while. I dumped the blitz filter because it was a paper type one. Not to be sarcastic but it may be operator trouble or the air box itself it cockeyed.
