Matrix, most ram air intakes don't give that much power- maybe 3 hp or something to be realistic. If you look at cold air, it'll be something like 5-7 hp.
As to comparing it to a SRI, it's probably equivalent, given it isn't restricted from taking in any air (most people think air comes in only from the top but air is sucked in from the bottom too). the bottom has a filter of it's own and looks identical to the top but w/o the ARC logo on it.
If you think about it, as long as the engine is sucking in air through the intake tube & air isn't restricted, it doesn't matter the design of the intake. Only thing that'll give you more HP is colder temperatures.
basically it acts like a SRI, but looks baller as **** lol it makes you stand out from the crowd w/ regular intakes. oh yeah, + you don't have to buy replacement filters. this one is pretty heavy duty and you can just rinse & dry
