I assume you were talking about the rear perches when you said you couldn't remove the 2 locking rings on each side. That's normal for Tein Basics. Took me about an hour using both spanner wrenches to break the 2 rings loose and then the bottom took some elbow grease to remove. One way to do this is to lock the perch down in a vice so it won't move and then use the wrenches to loosen. Remember, you need to loosen the locking ring first or they won't budge; use opposite directions >> << to loosen.

i have 3 of the 4 rings removed on the two fronts. and 1 of the other 4 in the rears loosened. i cant for the life of me remove the other 4. like i said in my other thread, i tried wd40, pb blaster, liquid wrench. even in a bucket of coke for 2 nights like what jasper ash recomended. i even had a HUUUGE amount of leverage because i put a long pipe at the end of the spanner wrench. still nothing. but im sure someone out there with the right tools or have more patience than me can do the fix real quick. i just wanna get rid of em cuz they're just sitting on my patio lookin pretty.
^did that already and there is no pics which is why i'm asking him to post up (or pm them to me) pics so i can see the condition of them and then make him an offer instead of sending him some bs offer...

here's what they look like after i took them apart right before i cleaned em off

heres what they looked like after i cleaned em

here they are after being cleaned and rings removed

as you can see, i have 4 of the rings loosened. the one to the very right has both rings removed,
to the left of that, i have to top ring removed,
to the left of that, both rings are still intact,
and to the left of that, i have the bottom ring loosened, but unable to remove because the top is still stuck
and heres the rest of the stuff

keep in mind, i did not do this to these coilovers. i barely had them installed in my car for less than 2 weeks till i took em out cuz i couldnt adjust them. i bought em from swsnowman who told me they were in great condition. obviously he lied. this is the pic he sent me:

i did some research on this guy. aparently, he bought em off of another guy on here named 1OF1 back in may of 2010. this is the pic he posted on his fs ad to sell to swsnowman:
