Tein SS-P Coilovers, good condition!
Selling Tein SS-P Coilovers off my 2005 tC. $780 or better offer.
Sold the car months ago for an SUV now that i've got 3 kids.
These coilovers are still in really good condition!
I never adjusted the ride height. It was perfect right out of the box.
I spent almost $1400 for these a few years back for many reasons...
1) I wanted something from a reliable, well known company that could rebuild or revalve them locally if they blew out or I wanted to go stiffer. I think they're over in Downey, CA.
2) I wanted to get the EDFC for remote controlling the dampening. But never got around to doing that cuz I was happy with just setting and forgetting about it.
3) I wanted pillow ball mounts and I didnt wanna deal with the hassle of pulling apart and sharing any strut parts....these are just plun n play.
4) After seeing the cheaper coil overs in action in videos, you can see the rear of lowered tC's bouncing around like crazy! I figured out early on that Tein figured out that you NEED stiff springs out back to compensate for the very short travel of the rears. (just look at how tiny they are!) Their small size also explains why they cant really do an adjustable body....no room!
But anyway, Tein runs 10k (560 lbs) springs out back with appropriate dampening......no bouncing!
I loved these Teins, and will likely buy Teins for my next project car....after my kids go to college.
***LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY***
in the San Fernando Valley....Panorama City, CA
sorry, no time to ship these out, unless I'm offered a deal I cant refuse.
thanks!
