Powder Coating: Powder coating is a powder base paint. It is applied by using a speical powder coating gun with an electrical charge. The powder is applied to the center hat and outer edge of each rotor. It is baked in a powder coating oven to 400 degress. The powder is melted and baked on to the surface. Powder coat is an equivalent to 6 layers of standard paint. Powder coating is more durable vs paint or zinc plating. The friction surface where the brake pads contact is not coated, which in turn speeds up the bedding process of the rotor and pad. DRT uses a polyester base powder which is designed for exterior use to compliment your vehicle and wheel.
DRT specilizes in cross slotted brake rotors. With 10 years in sport rotor business. CAD program and CNC machines allow us to stay 1 step ahead of our competiton. Every rotor is engineered for maximum performance and cooling efficiency.
