FS: 2003 Scion BB JDM RHD
Why couldn't this be daily driver...Is this not a running vehicle...Anyone have the details on this...I really like this...Does it still look it does in the first couple pics?
I wish the original poster would post some more info on this...I would seriously consider getting rid of the xD for this if it still looks like pics 1, 2, and 3...Need more info on mileage, title, etc...AZ isnt hard to register anything but financing would require clean title...
That's the problem, Scott, it is unlikely that one could register that vehicle for regular use on public roads. I do not believe it meets any of the requirements for an import exception. 
Only way I know of to have a legal "OpenDeck" on the roads here is to find a wrecked one overseas that is good from the B pillar back, and to graft that back end onto a legal xB front end here (for example one that was wrecked, but good B pillar forward).

unfortunately the DOT has closed most of the loopholes that allowed some cars to be imported in the past
otherwise I would buy it
