Your car doesn't have a warrenty any more since you have the intake and header on the car.
Thought IDE let you know. Glws tho.

actually I do. I worked at a Toyota dealership for the last 3 years (the same one I bought my car from). They know my car very well and everything that is on it. They would not deny any warranty claims on my car if there were any. I know the service director, all the service managers, and the shop foreman and will gladly introduce them to whoever buys my car so that they will be taken care of.

No....
Lol.

I worked at a dealership too
had the s/c on my tc
blew my motor because of the s/c
hours on the phone with Toyota reps
battleing for 4 weeks to get my car fixed.
But what do I know.
Just tryn to give you and others a heads up.
Your shop might "work the sytem" but most Toyota dealers don't.

But think and do what you want.

Just who ever buys this be carefull

I guess your dealership just sucks. I've had my s/c on since October 2005. Longer than anyone on here. You clearly had a installation issue. One of our service managers also had a s/c tC and went through 2 blowers. Mine has never had a single problem. Its not about "working the system". Its about knowing the law (see Magnuson-Moss Act). They must prove that whatever part you added or modified directly caused the problem. I figured you would have known that with you working at a dealer and all

I do know that. Thats why my ____ was fixed.

All I'm gonna say is most people get the supercharger because of the warrenty

when you take the trd intake box of and ad the aftermarket one. The s/c unit warrenty is no longer valid. Which would make it harder for you to prove it was defective if something goes on with your car

Yes. My dealership does suck *****. Thats why I got rid of that crap and went boost after they voided my warrenty.

Some Toyota reps are more leinate than others.
Yours sounds pretty laid back.
Mine wasn't.
