FS: 2005 tC FM $10,200 PRICE LOWERED!!!
I am selling my very sporty, very unique 2005 Scion tC. I am the original owner. It's a 5-speed in flint mica with 74,000 miles. The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago because of hydrolock. So the engine really only has 30,00 miles after being rebuilt. Tags were just payed. Exterior has some very light scratches and small dents on the right quarter panel and back bumper. The front bumper and hood have been repainted. 5% tint on back windows. Here's all the options it has:
19" Racing Hart Alloy rims with TRD carbon fiber center caps. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires 235/35/19 50% or 5/32" tread left. Only one rim has some scratches
Eclipse double din indash with GPS, MP3 and DVD (wired to play while driving) with factory 10" Bazooka sub installed on side panel to free up cargo space
Factory installed ground effects kit
TRD lowering springs (1" drop) with Tokico struts/shocks installed at 55,000 miles
TRD exhaust with 2.5" pipe, no resonator. Can be put back on if you want it that loud
TRD short shifter 25-35% shorter throw with a TWM weighted ****
TRD oil cap and custom painted engine cover
Pedestrial spoiler
OBX racing pedals
Four piece billet grille
Perma Plate on exterior and floor mats
6000k HID's are not installed but can be easily
I am selling this car because I bought a BMW. I loved driving the Scion but I needed something bigger. The car is in very good condition for being 5 years old. It's actually in better shape than my BMW. I have the records from the dealer to prove. Well below blue book even with the all the extras. Feel free to call or text me with any questions at 562-547-3264. Or email for more pics at: g_rivero84@yahoo.com

It is worth about $8500 in good condition. Even with a motor that doesnt have the full mileage on it . Most likely closer to $7500-$8000 tops with the scratches and dents. That is blue book price on it.
Mods dont increase the blue book on a car. So unless someone is willing to pay $2000 more than its worth for the exact mods you have, then you will have a hard time selling it. And whomever buys will have to put down the difference between blue book and the asking price, since the bank is going to loan blue book.

engifineer ^^ so come kbb has options like spoiler, DVD, nav, +19" rims and premium sound then?
in my area, kbb values a good 05 with 74k at 8,900. so i hope i can get about another 1,000 for all the extras. if, not, i already have a FT post for stock rims plus cash. and i can easily take my short shifter, h/u and exhaust off.

This car doesnt come from the dealer with DVD, 19" rims ,etc, that's why. They list that for optional equipment that comes on a car new, which raises the sticker price from the factory, which is what the base price on there is taken from. Aftermarket means absolutely nothing.. go ask any lending institution. The only way those things increase value is if you can get them as a Toyota option (not just something neat the dealer sells) at a higher sticker price.
And most people wont pay more for things you added.
You may find someone willing to pay more if they are looking for the specific things you have, but my point is that the car is not worth that much money. You are better off taking off the mods you can and selling them separately. Chances are you will make more that way.
