Hey everyone. Im in need of a manual transmission. I have an 09 manual and for some reason it gave out on me last night. I might be in need of a replacement but not sure im taking it in later to get it checked out. So any one know where I can get one for cheap? Im in Socal but dont mind driving anywhere to pick it up. thanks again!

 

how did it go out exactly sure its not the clutch worn out please explain may be able to save for changing out the whole thing

Well not sure im taking it in later on get it checked out. Im just checking just in case I do need to replace it. Best way to describe it is like if all the gears are jammed. The only gear that was working was 1st(rough) and 2nd(easy). 3rd, 4th, 5th, and reverse were completely jammed. Not sure if its my clutch. Car just hit 50k. Thanks for the help!

 

Could be your slave taking a poop. Trying to bleed the clutch and see if that helps. If the tranny starts to go in gears again smoothly and the goes back to jamming than you know it's that. But if it still jams after trying the bleeding than it could be your pressure plate taking a poop.

 

So my tranny works again. Thanks for everyone that helped but looks like what happened was kinna rare I would say but somehow the power cable from my sound system broke and exposed the metal part which was connected to the battery. That exposed metal was touching the top part of the transmission which caused it to get jammed but its working again better than before actually lol
