hey guys i blew the seals on my 05-06 supercharger and I'm looking to buy a new blower? I'm located in MD so let me know what you got. Im looking for a very low mileage blower or a NIB or one that has been upgraded with new bearings

not with updated bearings. you dont want to buy someone elses and have the samething happen again.

Are only the seals gone? If you wanted to be cheap about you could only replace the seals but yes just rebuild it. The group buy shaft will not solve the blower issue you are having.

 

I have no idea which ones are bad, I do know there is oil leaking into the intake pipe and the charge pipe connected to the motor and oil is running down the side of the blower

 

The blower will always leak some oil, if it is a lot then you need to repalce the seal. Are the bearings gritty when you turn the pulley by hand? Doesn't look like it but if you happen to be in AZ I will help you rebuild it for free, just buy the parts.

 

It is a LOT. Im going through 2-3 quarts of oil in between oil changes. Where can i buy just the seals?

BUMP....still looking for a new blower! Id rather not deal with doing a re-build but i might have to if no one is selling a blower!

 

I would (personally) get it properly rebuilt with ceramic bearings.

There is a company (their name escapes me at the moment) who completely rebuilds the SC with ceramic bearings and upgraded seals for around $450...surely someone knows.

Better to properly fix what you have, and know it's fixed, than to buy someone else's problems. (IMHO).
