Just got back into mountain biking and I'm interested in purchasing a bike rack off somebody. I will need one that holds two bikes. They are pretty rare for the tC's but i got hope in www.scionlife.com

I dont see those come across on SL hardly at all to be honest... you might have better luck just poking around online and finding a site/manufacturer that sells them. Im pretty sure Yakima makes one for the tC. I've actually competed for several seasons in mtn. biking racing so far... but no roof rack for the tC lol... my lowered baby wouldn't make it anywhere that is not paved/reasonably smooth. That's what my Jeep's for :D

 

If you can find a Yakima rack that uses Q towers, you can find the pieces you need from there. I believe the tC uses a 58" crosstower bar, but you may be able to get away with 48", which seems to be more common. After that you just need to order the right q clips and you're good to go. I found my stuff on craigslist. Rack had come off of a subie and needed different clips. After that though it was perfect. Just troll around a bit an I bet you'll find all of the pieces. Oh!! And invest in locks if you get a roof rack.. They have a tendency to walk off..
