lol sorry man, wasn't trying to be a jack@ss, its just when I was in the middle of posting this, I had only looked at your pics briefly, and somehow I got it in my head that your rims were the Dan Gardner 17x8.5's, which I prob would have traded for. Anyways, I had already done the work to take the pics and post them so I thought it would be good for a chuckle. Bump for some great rims tho!

Thanks! Yeah I fell in love with the look about 2 years ago when I saw a TC in an advertisement in Import Tuner that had very similar BBS rims. I knew one day I had to have a set-up like that. Then back in June I saw these for auction on ebay. Some guy took them off his 7-series (bmw yuck i know), and had them listed for 900 for just the rims with no tires. Anyways he made the mistake of doing a short 3 day auction and I don't think hardly anyone saw them because I was the only bidder. I offered him another $100 to keep the tires on (Toyo Proxes with a lot of tread left) and he said that sounded good because it saved him the trouble of taking them off and finding a place to store them. So it seems like a lot of coin but I still feel like I got a crackhead deal for such a nice rim/tire combo. The thing that sucks is that I didnt know anything about bolt patterns/adapters at the time and just assumed they would fit since they are 5-lug, but as it turns out Ive got to order these special bolt pattern adapters (5x100 to 5x120 conversion) to get these to fit, which is going to be like another $250.
