well, there are some Scions in Edmonton but from what I"ve seen they're not organized yet. You may run into a few during your trip

2 TC's?? holy shiat. I'm gonna have to take a spin up to school one of these days.

Well, had to use the spare on my XB yesterday, for the first time. Ran over a screw in the morning and was flat by the afternoon. Fairly easy change though KalTire had put the bolts on a lil tight when I put the winters on.

Yeah, I get that alot. They think "Scion" is the model instead of the make.

What's even worse is when they say "Sky-on".

That usually about the time when I say "do you called a guy that works in a lab a "Sky-entist"?

Lookin around a bit more online and we got a couple more TC's up for sale. most notably, that 07 TC at Brasso that I mentioned before:

$16,950.00 07 SCION TC
Year: 2007
Make: SCION
Description: 45162 MILES
Transmission: Manual
Doors: 2
Drive: FWD
Engine: 4-Cyl. 2.4 Liter
Fuel: Gas Exterior Color: Black
Interior Color: Black

has now been reduced in price: $13,950. Pretty good deal I'd say.

Plus Fish Creek Nissan has got an 06 TC with 101,000kms for $10,900.
Maroon colour.

Speaking of the TC, the RS6.0 is out(saw this in another thread)

was at Eau Claire earlier today and I may have tagged Ride123. If not, then it was a similar ride to Norma's maroon Gen 1.

well there's a switch. I was spotted tonight! was rollin on 9th and dude rolled up next to me in a nicely modded Gen1, dark blue. Just chatted him up for a min but gave him the site flyer and told him about the meet sunday. Hopefully he shows, I"d like to get a bit more detail on his mods.

I'm gonna call Alan too, let him know what's up.

Well Saturdays are def the best day for Scion spotting.

Crossed paths with a grey Gen2 XB on elbow Dr, just north of glenmore.

Then went by a white Gen1 XB who was waiting at the light. I think it's the same guy that was at the Blackfoot Farmers Market. Tagged him before.

Then there was a maroon Gen1 XB parked beside American Apparel on 14th and 17th Ave last night. It had either Ont or BC plates. I was in traffic so I couldn't tag 'em.

I was just watching Top Gear and they were doing a bit with what I thought was an XB.
Turns out it's a Daihatsu Materia. Which is essentially a Scion XB. Here's the bio:

The Materia
It is based on the platform of the second generation of the Daihatsu Sirion and is largely identical to the second generation of the Toyota bB.

Comes in 1.3L and 1.5L varieties with a 4WD version in the pipeline, manual and Auto versions. (Currently in UK they only have the 1.5L Version 16/11/2007) 0-60 mph times 10.8 seconds for manual, and 13.7 seconds for Auto (UK Versions)

Maximum speed of 106 mph (171 km/h) and for automatic 102 mph (164 km/h)

This generation of the Materia is sold in Japan as the Daihatsu Coo and the Subaru Dex and mainly as the Toyota bB.

You guys catch that? An ALL WHEEL DRIVE is in the works for this thing! Can we be that far off??

well, sundays are good for Scion spotting too.

Saw Norma's XB downtown.

Then saw what could possibly be a 6th!! white Gen1 XB. He was turning onto Crowchild north near Kensington. Didn't look familiar at all.

Then crossed paths with a white TC on 17th Ave near 30th St SW. Almost didn't recognize the thing t'il it was right up on me.
