Im in for the 8th. arent we meeting 6machine at his shop early morning on Sunday to go over 6scion4?

i was thinking about it. but didnt want to go just by myself. I would be more interested hooking up with the US scion boys then going to the show. I was hoping to meet some of these guys!!

and then head to Metrotown for noon.

See ya tomorrow, hopefully it might turn nice

800 block of Granville, it is right downtown, don't know the cross street but look for 6machine and me. I'm just going from when I was going to Jesse's grad I saw a TCM xB just down from the Champ sports shop and later 6 said he was at his shop.

call me if you can't find it and we will guide you in.

Hey guys,

My buddy called me on June 8, thinking I was at Metrotown when he spotted 4 or 5 xB's there. Sadly, I did not know about this club. Glad I had the sense to go searching... I knew I'd find this forum eventually.

I've had my 2006 xB for about a month now - but it looks like I won't be in town for the next M&G's in July and I have plans the 2nd Sunday of August, too. ='( Maybe in September...

Hi Mich, thank your friend for letting you know and thanks for finding the forum.
Congrats on your new xB, best car I ever owned, Hope to get you out for future meets, keep checking this forum and look for updates, If Sundays don't work for you and want to meet some other days for cruises. Just post up, we are starting to get a good group of people and it is always great to show off your cars. If you have any questions or want to do somethings to your car and are looking for ideas or help getting things done, (mods, stereo installs, wiring) just let us know. We have some great talent in the group.

Cheers Canxb

Thanks Canxb.
This is the newest car I've ever owned and I can't express enough how much I love it. Anybody that knows me tells me that it fits me perfectly.

I had an Alpine stereo installed and a 10" sub box and amp installed (and an alarm). Was going to put the sub beneath the cargo floor beside the spare, but found that the space beneath the passenger seat was the same size, so my passengers get a nice butt massage. Will likely be upgrading the speakers (partly b/c the silly thing didn't come with any speaker in the driver's side door).

Got Scion floor mats, cargo liner, cargo cover, and a the bumper protector. Disappointed with the cargo cover - didn't know what it looked like before I ordered it - oh well. Haven't applied the bumper protector yet - afraid I'll mess it up.

Am looking at getting rims and wheels but it's outside of the budget right now. =( Already got a nice rock chip in my windshield.

Sundays would generally work, but this summer is getting really busy with traveling for work and other summer plans.

=) mich

Wow cracked windsheild? that sure seems strange........ I have been running a huge crack across my windsheild for the last year $200 for a new one, but this keeps getting put off to complete other mods. Glad you are loving it so and if you need a hand upgradibng the speakers just let us know and we can help out.

What colour do you have, hopefully it is one that we don't have showing up yet.

Look forward to meeting up and take care, Canxb

Toast, look Metrotown paid off, one more to show up!!!!! Keep em coming....

It's sort of a dark green... a bit of dark grey mixed in there....
Apparently only avail in '06.

Very cool we do not have a SM in the group yet. Phatbass will be checking this out as he just sold his RS2 and is looking for either a Shadow Mica or Polar White to replace his RS2

Really? Then the colour ref must be wrong as it says "Shadow Mica replaced Camouflage in mid 2006". Unless I'm totally mistaken in thinking mine is Shadow Mica...

Couldn't have been me. I haven't been out to Langley in my new ride. My commute is from the Lougheed Mall area to Richmond. And if you drive up Gaglardi Way you might see me packing my mtn bike (and thus getting mud and dirt all over the inside of my new baby. )

I saw a grey xB out on Grandview Hwy at 2:30am Sat night/Sun morn. I think we just grinned at each other. haha. :D

This is kind of what happens.
Start meet and greet in the parking lot at 12:00.... wait for other to show, stand around and check out what everyone has done, discuss where we are going to go and stop of Food (some one keeps saying "Why is alway about the food??"). Wrap up can be between 2:00 and 4:00.

We are looking at starting a bit earlier and maybe even two meeting points. We are making progress on plans and more will be developed as we going along. We have even mentioned about an evening cruise.

Some of the group don't mind meeting at other times and if the time frame is not working for you please post up when you would like to meet. We can meet even if it some people don't show. some is better than none. Tech days will be ran outside of the meet and greets so if you want need some help with anything, just let us know and I am sure some of us will step up.

We would love to get some people that have never made it out to meet up and if that means running a couple meets on Saturdays or week night evenings, I am sure at least a few of us will make it out......right guys?

Look forward to meeting up, CanxB
