First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
To answer question: "you guys allow them now?" All Scions Are Imported by a Dealer or an indiviual into Canada so its really says that were are true Scion fans or just want something different. I just got mine a month ago and trying to find out how many Xb's there really are.

I just posted up another meet and greet on the Van Club? Let get one started! thread for Saturday, October 13/07. I have been trying to get this going but the last two times I have tried to set it up, I end up meeting myself and waiting for no one. Please please post up and if you want to get it going more often, I would be down for that. The best meet we have had so far has been 5 xbs and 1 tc.

Yea IMPORTED it myself. not a tough process. the Recall Letter has to be from a Dealer with it's letterhead. So, just go to a USA dealership with your VIN number, they then look into the system and tell ya yes all recalls where done on your Xb. You tell them you would like a printout of this and they will be happy to give this to you. Then take that Xbwith your letter to the border along with Clear title of ownership, bill of sale to the USA side only open during 8-4 get paper work stamped (this is costless),proceed to the Canadian side with the above forms and the form-1 that you get from US,pay your duties and taxes and $200.00 for RIV inspection. Get your form-2 emailed to RIV by Customs. Wait a day and call RIV, they tell you that it has been accepted to enter Canada tell them to email it to you, print this off. Last step you take it to Canadian tire get it inspected and DRL installed pay $400.00.Suggest you get the DRL installed so parking lights come on not the head lights (just my opinion). 2 weeks later you get a sticker in the mail , take it and stick it on driver a pillar. Thats it Enjoy!!!
A Broker will charge you about $800.00 to due this process plus all paperwork expenses.
Save the Money do it yourself.
Hope that Helped

hey guys,
sorry i've been MIA.
anyways, if anyone is planning on importing their car themselves, sometimes the dealer letter is not good enough. mine was rejected by RIV.
getting the recall letter is super easy. all you need to do is call toyota USA with the VIN of your car and they'll arrange for a copy to be emailed/faxed to you.
here's their info:
Toyota USA
Phone: 800-331-4331
Mon - Fri, 5:00 am - 6:00 pm PT
Sat, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm PT
Fax: 310-468-7814

hope that helps.

There is one but there hasn't been a meet since the fall. And there was a big no show at the last one. I belive that there will be a meet in February or March when the weather is nice. Or people could just start meeting at a place in the GVRD on a day once a month, and see if it will catch on or not.

If any one is intrested we are trying to get a scion club going in the GVRD. Any one is welcome to show up. This Saturday At Metrotown to start. 10:30am then will cruise around to diffeerent locations each month or just find a good spot to meet.
