Its offical Scion is making they way to BC.

I know its been in the works for a couple of years now....But i applied to a posting on Craigslist for the Scion street team and wouldnt you know it i got an interview!!!

From what i am told the flagship dealership is going to be in Richmond (automall). I have an interview on Monday to become part of the the team. I am figuring alot of marketing and shows to promote the product. Here's hoping i get in!!!

Ok so the plan for Scion Canada is they Go Toyota/Scion dealerships. Open road Toyota Richmond, Coquitlam Chilliwack will be split. Jimmy P is getting 3 locations and the other location weren’t talked about.

It would appear that the move will be slow and the Open Road Street team will do local (lower mainland) Events starting with the Richmond Night Market this weekend. The plan is to open and host events to promote the scion brand, hand out swag and just to get the name out there. They will also Host events in the bigger malls. Open road is also going to be have contests events with prizes including a free rental of a 2010 Xb as well as other great items (the interviewer wouldn’t go into specifics but I would assume its going to be good!!)


Basically they are going a different way than most of the car companies as they are going after a different demographic as well as showing the product and not trying to sell you a car and push Scion down your throat.

I just hope i am part of it!!
