Stereo frustrations
I bought a 2012 Scion xB back in March in Ontario. It came with the base Pioneer Stereo.
I recently just moved to California, and while looking at a 2012 xB in a local Scion dealership I noticed that it had a different base stereo! This one had built-in Bluetooth (which brings proper Bluetooth audio support) and HD radio!
From the research I've done so far, it looks like the 2012 Scions sold in Canada are shipping with the 2011 base stereos. What gives?
The big question is, can I buy a 2012 xB base stereo in the US to replace my inferior 2011 model? I already tried to replace it with a 2013 FRS base stereo, but it has different connectors on the back.
