anyone near slidell la that can help me with my h/u. its an avic-d3 and i let a shop install it and they f*ked it up. im uber ____ed now tho and would love if someone could plszzzzzzz help me.

 

i'm in baton rouge, there's a few around in hammond, and several in nola... we can help, but can you be a little bit more specific on what they did to mess it up??? i might be able to walk you through it...

 

well first they broke the brackets that the side extension things screw it to so they fit awkwardly. they broke the door that goes over the radio so even tho i went back over there work and moved the radio back it wont work. and i cant seem to find the ground in the wires. its almost like they friggin added wires to it. ive looked at all the pics of how to do it and it seems like i have 4x as many wires. : / other than that they scratched up my rear hatch installing my reverse cam and broke the latch off in the back so i have to lift from the bottom of the hatch rather than use the handle.

 

oooo and if anyone can help im off all weekend. but next weekend i work all weekend. and i work everyday after work till 4:30. if u think we could get it done in the time after work ill go where ever is needed lol.

Hey, go to http://www.scikotics.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=169 and post in there. We are a much more local community and there will be several people that can help you out with this.
I know one of the guys installed a Z1 in his tC. We should definitely be able to help.
I would seriously consider pushing the shop to compensate you though if they did that much damage. Just don't let them do anymore work on it.
