Default if u have installed a cold air intake please respond!!

do u have to remove the fender to install a cold air intake... all the pics i have seen show the fender removed..... is that just to show a good pick or do u have to remove it, thanks

I didn't remover my fender, just the wheel.

Yeah do not remove the fender. It's way more work than needed, just remove the wheel and hold back the fender liner as you slide the tube into place. This is the best way to access the filter too. Unless you remove the bumper, this too is an awesome way to work on the front of these. Hope this helps you. Good luck!

wheel, and some of the plastic in the corner under the bumper, then bend back the plastic in the fender

Wow I bought a F5 Fujita Cold air and didnt have to do anything but jack the front driverside up so i could get under the car to screw on the clamp to the filter.

ohh And by the way the F5 Fujita freaking rocks. I installed it yesterday took about 3 hours cause i lost a nut and had to wait for a friend to get off work to come pick me up to go buy one that fit LOL.

if you need an intake installed around this area I travel to jackson often and can assist. should take about 15 mintues,, depending on which intake you have

Jeff installed my K&N intake....was kinda freaked out when he started pulling the front bumper off....but he knows his stuff.....and this was a a Scion Show....

I almost bought a cai but decided to go with a short ram. A lot less work to put on .


anyway back on topic. just do what they said you can reach into the engine bay area from the fender well. thats how I change my air filter
