Don't forget to sign up for The Poker Run as well as this one. These are two events that are sure to help out a fellow scion owner along with the children that need it! Can't wait for these to get here. I hope everyone is as stoked as me. We are in full swing this season.

Was going to ask the same thing myself??? What happened? Sounded like this was going to be part of a great trio of Charity events for us this fall!!!

It would nice if someone from sa would let the community know whats going on. Come on guy's -- were all in this together right.There's been more info posted in socal area than here.

 

I'm sorry guys/ gals. I was actually working today and never fired up my laptop.
It was posted what happened but was deleted for some reason.
There are conflicting schedules with all parties involved, so we have cancelled. (HIN x2, Sema, etc...)
We are doing a Car wash to benifit Brent / JDRF later this month.
Like my original post said, we have the Poker Run to support, so I hope everyone comes out and makes this a great event as it is intended to be. JDRF needs all of our support in one way or another.

I THINK WHAT'S HAPPENING IS THE OTHER CLUB IS DICTATING WHAT THEY WANT US TO DO. CAUSE WE HURT CB'S FEELINGS THEY STARTED COMPLAINING. SO WHAT HAPPEN'S EVERYTHING CHANGE'S TO SUIT THEM.

If this thread turns into a drama scene it will be deleted, I'm sure SA would not be happy for anyone from their own group causing that.

Wow --- Randy -- Very strong words. I don't know what was said in private between S.A. members, but I find it hard to believe that any club or dealership would do something like that. How does it benefit the scion community as a whole? Both dealerships and both clubs doing something good for the betterment of children and adults.

 

I honestly don't think anyone dictates any activity. We are coming up on a very busy time of the year. Lots to do. And in a short time. Seems like every weekend has something pulling people in different directions. It comes down to helping the cause. Who care's what club is involved? Or who is involved? I hope it's not the real case. It all seems so petty when compared to the reason we are all coming together. Well supposed to be! Just help out the cause. Without the donations the kids and the families loose out. Please don't let club lines and opinions take away from the real reasons to participate.

 

Lines have not been drawn by anyone. There were a few snags in the plan. I take full responsibility for those snags. I was not prepared for the issues that arose. We are all in this for JDRF. Nothing more. Please don't let your feelings get in the way of helping out. If anyone has questions, come directly to me. I will be more than happy to speak to you.
