Hey guys,

I just want to follow up with what Gabe is saying. It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here (almost). Let us know if you have any questions at all. Currently we are ironing out the details, so post up any ideas. We'll also have "movie-films" going the whole time, so help us pick out some shows. Hope to see you all there!

David

BTW, in terms of prizes, we have some new products in the pipeline. In other words - check back soon.

Really, I heard that you were going to be feeling a bit "under the weather" that weekend.

You have a month and a half to request it off, so in the words of Mr. Stiller, "Do it. Do it. Do it."

Believe me you're not going to want to miss this one!

^^^ I'm sure we would love to have any help. Luckily the trailer, thanks to Scion Corp, will have everything it needs, so setting up should be fairly easy.

One more thing, how do you guys know what you'll be working a month and a half from now, I've never had a job where schedules were given more than a month in advance? Just curious.

At least one prize will be anounced at some point either today or Monday, depending on how busy it is.

My schedules the exact same every other week. So I could tell you when I'm working in march if I had the dedication to look at a calender.

Most people know their work schedule months in advance because it doesn't ever change......just a thought.

I had heard about this, but honestly thought it would be more of a show then just one trophy. Don't get me wrong, I could care less about the prizes, but there is no way most of us can compete with a couple of the cars that are in the state, it just isn't possible.....maybe have one trophy for each model and then one best of show, but whoever wins best of show can't win their class, just a thought.....my own two cents, take it for what it is worth.

No worries the winner will probably not have the nicest car. We are looking for the person that has been creative and has spent their own time on their car(s). Not the guy that threw money at it.

I would like to let everyone know a couple more things about the event. Most importantly, though our Scions are what draw us together, the cars actually have only a small role in what we will be doing that night. Yes, there will be a show where the most creative car (trust me, it will have little to do with the actual money that has been put into the car) will recieve an award, but there will be much, much more. One of the prizes is...

An all-new iPod Touch* will be awarded to the Poker Tourney champ. Several other prizes will also be available (Pumpkin Carving, etc.), but only one will actually have anything to do with the cars.

*I will be testing out the iPod personally to insure it works properly prior to the event I wish!

What are the rules for the pumpkin carving contest? Can we use our own supplies?

Also themes for your Scion----does this included the owners dressing in theme?
This sounds like some fun. We are making plans to be there. I guess by now everyone knows our theme.

NO not crazy old fart----but close.

The exact rules have not been decided yet for the pumpkin carving contest, but feel free to bring your own tools if you have them (though we will be providing tools as well). As for the car show, owners dressing in theme will only help them as we decide the winner. Remember, it is only a week and a half before halloween.

Since it is still nearly a month and a half away we do not have all the details yet. Keep on checking back though as we will continually update what we will be doing that night.

Thanks guys for the questions though!
