John and the cats at Larry Miller... You guys did a great job! Always friendly, always professional, and always a good time! Thank you for the great eats and fun on the streets! To the owners... some times you get quality over quantity, ya'll are quality folks! I hope to see you all next weekend.

J. Price

My count was just a rough count. I certainly hope the Scion community makes a better showing at the next event. Although we probably will with it being on the east side. For some reason not many East siders make it over to the west side. But I know that West siders make it to almost all east side events.

I might get flamed here... Now with all that being said, there needs to be a little better judging system. Because a couple that won shouldnt have won. Like best of show.... usually goes to fully tricked out scions... Not to cars like it did. Im not saying any of this because im bitter about not winning myself because that is not the case. I do not mod my car to win trophies and mine was by far not the best scion there. So I dont care about that.

I think the lack of participation might be due to the fact that every weekend for the last few months there has been something going on. Eventually you have other non Scion things to do. I know all of these events are a blast. But there does come a time when projects at home need done. And family time comes first. For some that attend most all events... You have to get burned out at some point. I think we all appreciate the effort that is put into these events for us to enjoy. So it's not a lack of appreciation. Just at some point other things in life come before the events.

I do not think he really meant the Best of Show one. I believe that Best of Show was decided by the staff that put on the show.

thank you for saying what needed to be said Dagarhart. The only thing I'm going to comment on the judging is I think Chris had a well deserved win, I won't comment on any of the other judging.

all of you. it was judged by people's choice. most tickets in the envelope wins. period.

theme cars always do best when the public votes.

it's not a real car show, it's a chance for people to show that they like what someone has done to their car. it's also a great chance for people who may not otherwise get a trophy to get a little recognition. some great people got some cash last night.

if you don't like it, boycott larry miller.

I agree about some great people getting some cash. I thought that they said they picked the Best of Show. Guess I mis-heard. But it was great to see some good people go home with some good money.

don't boycott larry miller, they weren't the ones voting. just don't go to any more scion events. it was the scion owners that did the voting.

Chris won best of show. he's the one I was talking about. who is more deserving in every way than him?

well, at least you called me sir since I'm more than twice your age and have probably had my scion longer than you've been driving.

there's nothing wrong with hondas, just ask Willie (be sure to ask him nicely, that dude scares everybody).

Hey guys Sorry that I didn't make it out. I was wanting to go but with all of the traveling I have been doing I was wipped out and less than 36 hours from when I got home on friday I am back up in Utah again for work.

Sounds like a lot of people are upset on how the judging went. But as Dudehitt said if its a people's choice then it is that People write down the number of the car they liked and the person with the most votes wins. I've been involved in many show with my plastic models and my hot rod that they do that. It gives everyone a fair chance. Look at the show Biker build off on discovery channel when they used to do that, the winner was determined by which bike the audience liked the best.

I know I'm lloked on as the leader of SA but, I'm going to jump in and say WTF happened here?
Browndogg, get something else to _____ about. I have paint, interior, video, audio, etc....... That puts me into the catergory with Hawiianxbzee, Randode, HTWLZ, Yelowsub, Amber (Boomster's old box) etc.... Will I ever win against them? NO! You may have seats, you may have a system, you may have a turbo. IS IT LAID OUT TO WHERE EVERYONE LIKES IT? It was judged by your peers. Maybe no one voted for your car. I know no one voted for mine. WHO CARES WE ALL HAD FUN! Do you really think you can win against BJ or Jake? Cuz when Ron or Jeremy come out, you really aren't going to win, so sssshhhhhhh. Have fun with it. That's what it is about.

Brent, relax, your blood pressure can't handle it.

This thing that Dagarhart is talking about has been happening for a while. When someone says something they get flamed. Can you EASTSIDERS come out for something other than on your side of town? SERIOUSLY! ALL of us from the west side roll that way for EVERYTHING. YOU ALL talk about getting everyone back together like it used to be but, hey, you, yourself never show up.

SA and Scikotics have been working well together and there will be future events. Isn't that what everyone wanted? ALL clubs (NoLimitz, Scikotics, SA), including the dealerships, are all working to make everything we do fun. If you don't come out to an event, they will stop doing them.

Flame me if you want, but come on, enough is enough.

Now why would you boycott us when we're trying to provide a good time and take care of you guys?

The fairest judging system was by the people, and that's what went on.

yeah, sorry about that. I got a little carried away, and then dagarhart quoted me before I could change it, so I didn't feel right with an edit. That's why I posted this later.

I thought all the guys at Larry Miller did a great job, the scavenger hunt was a lot of fun (even if I missed a question), the food was great, the people were great, some really good people took home some cash. Great job guys, I couldn't ask for anything more in a scion event.

Thank you Larry Miller!!
