5/31/08 - Dezod Desert Showdown - Tickets on sale now!!
All of these are very great questions guys, and I thank you for it. I am compiling a lot of information right now and will post a lot of answers as I figure out more details.
This event got so large that I need to make sure every angle is covered so I'm doing a lot of research, planning, investing, etc. Please stay tuned and thank you all so much for making this idea a reality.

I got a few other things figured out. Concession stands are all set so there will be food and drinks available the entire time. I still cant speak of official sponsors yet but I will be able to soon
For safety, I think everyone that races would need a helmet. I'm working on a few options right now for those that would need to buy one. Keep in mind, not everyone is racing at one, so people can share helmets. I would recommend buying a sock for your head though, should the person before you be sweaty!
We're working out the timing system, intructors, and official schedule as well right now. I will have an EMT crew and track officials there as well.
