Correct. We want to try something different and I think road racing will help make things a little more fun.

One of the reasons why we're doing this event was to tune your car and a few others lol. Maybe we'll push thas back to fall if that's what it comes down to.

 

I'd love to go! The biggest thing for me would be to have a set date and someone to come along. It would be a long lonely drive from FL to AZ by myself.

DAMN YOU! I am my buddies Best Man and he's getting married in DC in October! ARGH! And I just looked it up...the raceway is 18 minutes away from my brother-in-laws house! They live off of Mericopa Road!

Well, I think I'm still gonna try to hit you up when I come up in April. I still think you'll have a good group for this race day no matter when it is.

I'll make a race and show work. We can have schedules setup for racing, then show, then the eliminations to follow.

For Cali/Vegas/and out of state people...

It would be great to organize mini-meets for the drive over here. I can help organize if you wish, but I think if we appoint a regional coordinator for each area of the US, we could make things more smoothly.

Mightygnu and OuterHeaven, if you guys want to take control of the Cali groups, that'd be great. Aen, same goes for you with the Vegas guys. NoLimitz, if the AZ stuff gets too big for this post, maybe you can run a mini thread to help organize this.

This is shaping up to be a MASSIVE event and it's only been a day. I think everyone's going to have a blast and a lot of people can learn from eachother about mods, how things are working for cars on the track, and more.

Everyone that reads this, please tell your local car groups. I'd love to see a diverse turnout. If you KNOW of friends that would be coming, I need you to post it here, and what part they'd be registering for. We're making a budget plan right now and we'd like to plan accordingly so everyone has the best experience.

 

OK...I told my wife about this when I got home and she likes the idea! So it looks like I WILL be able to make it in May! So that's aen and me. Ola will probably go too. Honestly the most I can say is that the 24th of March looks to be the one, we just need to secure a couple vendors and get enough interest for preorders to fund such a large and costly event.
