Im thinking about truckin it up to Iowa for this event, my friend from Colorado went last year and said it was a blast. There is no registration fee so you're just paying gas and hotel.

It would be a bit of a drive but we can meet up with the guys from Colorado depending on what time we leave. At this point i would have to say that I'm not going but I'm hoping that will change.

It starts May 11th to the 13th.

I may be in for this one.. i grew up 40 mins north of Ames Iowa i t would be cool to show up at my moms and other buddys i haven't seen for a while...

that would be a fun time. ames has some nice bars. not too bad of a drive i think it is like 26 hours to ames might be a litle more. grew up like 45 min north west of there and had friends go to college there.

 

As fun as the trip would be, are you freakin' crazy!!!!! I hope you are going to spend an entire week or so up there Scotty....mang, I warn you....I have done the 24 hr. trip from Denver to Philly a few times and everytime I drive it straight through it takes a good day or so to recover. That is just one long **** time to sit in a car.

Plus I've got the potential Denver June/July meet and Roswell in August! Sorry mang, would if I could!!!!

its still not certain if i'll be going. That is a long drive and would maybe need to be broken down to two days of driving which would mean another hotel charge.

Maybe a could half way point would be in Colorado and we can continue on with the guys from Colorado.

Its still looking though that there is only a 20% chance i will be going to this event.

 

well Scott I might go but i will NOT go up to Colorado and then over... I HATE DRIVING THROUGH NEBRASKA!!! I will only go the Southern route... sorry to be a stickler but Nebraska is SOOO boring of a drive we will all be dead from falling asleep while cruisin at 85mph!!!
