I heard the ad about the car show/contest on 92.3fm yesterday. It is sponsered by pepsi and the winner is supposed to get 1,000 bucks to customize their ride like the do on Pimp my ride. May be worth the ride out there to see some fubar rides.

My boyfriend told me about it and we planned on going. It's going to be in the wal-mart parking lot right by his house, off the new section of the 202 and Williams Field Road on the SW corner.

 

yeah, we heard about that on the radio this morning...sounds like it'd be something cool to go to.

It goes from 7pm to 9pm. I called 92.3 this morning about it. Also this isnt a trophy type of show, also a raffle to win the wheels or stereo

 

Supposedly they have classes for best exterior, interior, engine, stereo and best overall car.

I was also told that only the first 50 cars to show up will gain entry to the show to be judged.

I say all of us thats want to go show up really early and represent Scion, and Scionetics. If we can get enough of us to go and they are only doing 50 cars. we could rule the show. Its only two hours. everyone should come. get there at like 5-530.

 

i would but i have to pack tonight. my flight back to nj leaves at 1:45 in the morning but i still need to pack and get some things done before i leave.

 

I am picking up the xB at the vinyl shop tonight around 6:30pm so I don't think I'll make it in time. But I'll at least try and stop by and say hello to those that make the 50 car cutoff.

Show was small but cool. Rained like hell halfway through it.

Crisby won 2nd best Interior.

I'll post more later, need sleep. Oh, and the FHC looks great! I'll take some photos of it tomorrow. Or if you go to the Pavilions you can see it in person.

Sorry, I didn't get to meet you guys while there. After doing a lap of the show to see the cars, we got a bit nervous from all the lighting and no sooner than we got back into car...It started to rain. The drive home was fun.
Congrats to crispy for winning a trophy!!!! Did that jacked up Chevy 2500 win a trophy best undercarriage?!?!?
