Default az accidents

I was reading some stats online about traffic accidents and thought i'd share it with the community.

approximately 3.23 persons killed a day
one person killed every 7.4 hours
There are 192,45 people injured a day
one person injured every 7,4 minutes
drinking drivers (doesnt mean they where drunk) where involved in 5,5% of all crashes
Reported accidents last year: 139,265
drinking drivers where involved in 21% of all fatalities
over 80% of all drinking drivers where male.
urban crashes accounted for 83% of all crashes and 50% of all fatal crashes
71,3% of all crashes occure during day light hours 6am-6pm
Motor vehicle crashes resulted in 3,4 billion dollors in economic losses in arizona alone.

Each year the total number of traffic accidents increase, so lets all be carefull out there! A lot of people on the road don't know how to drive so everyone watch your back!

My friend's dad is a retired cop and when he was on the force he had to do some report on accident statistics. He said that most accidents happened on Bell Road near Sun City on Thursday afternoons because all the old people are staking out the yard sale locations for Friday morning so they can hit them all up early and not worry about getting lost and wasting time. LOL.

Great Just Great -- I gotta keep my eyeballs peeled because Ma & Pa Suncity are out
in their golfcarts screwing up traffic. Where in the hell is that winning lotto ticket so I
can get the hell out of here!! Crap!

I just saw a stock BOP xB get rear ended on the 101. Didn't look like a lot of damage.

I always drive through with my system as loud as I can get it to go. Especially when I pull up behind a guy driving 25 in a 35mph zone. GET A MOVE ON!!!
